• Full time position
• Competitive Salary Package – Includes a $7,000 regional allowance, mobile phone, laptop, and company vehicle (with fortnightly contributions towards private use)
Hope Community Services has provided much needed support to people affected by alcohol and other drugs, mental illness and socioeconomic disadvantage in WA for over 100 years. The Pilbara/ Kimberley Regional Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of all client services and staff within the region, and works collaboratively within the Executive to develop new regional opportunities.
• Manage the overall operation of HOPE services in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions, ensuring services meet contractual and legislative requirements, deliver culturally secure, competent, respectful, effective interventions to meet the client’s needs
• Manage all client services, budgets, and HR processes in the region within delegated authority
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to increase collective impact and contribute to population outcomes for key community initiatives in line with HOPE’s Strategic Plan
• Travel to various service locations, as required
• Current National Police Clearance (no more than three months old), Working with Children Check, WA Drivers Licence & First Aid Certificate
• Ability to obtain clearance from the WA Department of Justice
• Qualifications in social work, psychology, health, education, social science or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in the industry
• Demonstrated experience in management and the ability to exercise judgment and initiative
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation
• Advanced communication and writing skills, administrative and computer skills
• Ability to use service data to monitor, evaluate and inform service delivery
