Hope Community Services, in partnership with Yorgum Healing Services, need the community’s help in naming a new family and domestic violence support facility, to service communities in Armadale and surrounding suburbs.

The hub, temporarily named South East FDV Healing Service, will allow community members access to a range of support services under one roof. The services will include counselling, advocacy, legal advice, early childhood and family support. Yarning, healing and other group activities will be made available for community members regularly at the hub.

Extensive community and stakeholder consultation has been held to guide the hub’s look and feel, however the name of the hub has not been finalised.

Hope Community Services and Yorgum Healing Services would like to invite community members and those with lived experience to have a say in the naming of the new service by contributing their ideas. The naming workshop will give members of the community an opportunity to ensure that the name of the hub can encourage access for all.

The Behaviour Change Collaborative will be facilitating two naming workshops, being held on Monday 25 March – one for women and one for men – at Champion Centre, 76 Champion Drive, Seville Grove.  The workshops will be catered for participants.
