For more than 120 years, HOPE has stood alongside Western Australian individuals, families and communities, supporting them through life’s toughest challenges. We continue this legacy with our the Strategic Plan 2026-2028.
This plan is more than a document; it is a compass for delivering support informed by the enduring impacts of colonisation and the complexity of social determinants, including housing, employment and community connection. As demand for integrated, culturally-safe, person-centred care grows, we remain steadfast in our commitment to community-led, place-based approaches.
Over the next three years we will deepen our engagement, expand our partnerships, grow our models where they are needed, solidify our culturally responsive practices and work closely with our peak bodies to advocate fiercely for those we service.

We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of the challenges they face. We recognise that life’s toughest challenges – whether they be related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, systemic disadvantage, family and domestic violence or other complex needs – can leave people feeling isolated, powerless and disconnected.
With this Strategic Plan as our guide, we will walk alongside individuals and families when they need us most. From Esperance to Kununurra we operate a ‘no wrong door’ approach for those who are experiencing trauma, hardship, vulnerability or challenging life circumstances.
